Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
By using Adwety you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Not medical advice
Adwety is a reminder and organisation tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not check the medicine names or doses you enter. Always follow your doctor's and pharmacist's instructions, and ask them before changing a dose or stopping a medicine. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
2. You are responsible for your medicine decisions
You enter the medicines, doses and times, and you are responsible for their accuracy and for taking your medicine. We work to deliver reminders on time but cannot guarantee uninterrupted delivery: notifications and alarms depend on your phone, its system settings, battery and network. Do not rely on the app as your only way of managing a medicine that cannot be late.
3. Your account
You must be an adult to create an account. Enter accurate information and keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what is done through your account.
4. Family sharing
- Add profiles only for people whose medicines you are entitled to manage: yourself, your children, and people who agreed to it or whom you lawfully care for.
- Invite only people you trust. Someone you share a profile with sees its medicines and dose history and, depending on the access you give, may log doses or change medicines and reminders.
- Missed-dose alerts go to family members and include the person's name, and the medicine's name unless "hide medicine names" is on.
- You can stop sharing or remove a member at any time. If the family's owner deletes their account, the family is dissolved.
- Do not use sharing to monitor someone without their knowledge.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the app lawfully, not to misuse the service, and not to try to access other users' data, breach or disrupt the service, or automate it beyond normal use. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
6. Subscriptions
Some features need a paid plan. When purchases are available in the app, they are billed and renewed through the App Store or Google Play under their terms, and you manage or cancel a subscription in your phone's subscription settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all its data at any time, in the app (Profile tab, then Delete account) or by email. The details are on the Delete account page. A deleted account cannot be restored.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for missed doses, late or undelivered notifications, incorrect information entered by a user, or reliance on the app.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and its courts decide any dispute arising from them. This does not take away rights that the law of your own country gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
